There are a few more flowers this week. The second pick of lilacs. This one is so delicate with its white edge. They are available as bunches, in a mixed bouquet or arranged in a vase for you to just take home.
Other flowers that have started: Alstromeria (4 colors), columbines, lupines and Iris.
Lilacs are a lovely cut flower. If you have some in your yard, please consider picking them. I find I really get to appreciate a blossom when it is in a vase. Tips for using Lilac stems: cut stems on a deep slant, use flower food, and check the water everyday. They drink a lot and like deep water. Depending on the variety they last from 5 - 7 days.
If your not fortunate to have some in your yard, come by and get yourself a bunch.
